Augmented reality (AR) has been around for a while now but businesses have struggled to find commercial ways to use it. With brands like IKEA, Target and Home Depot already using it, it appears that Etsy, Lexus and Instagram are joining the party.

Surely the behemoth that is Facebook couldn’t be reaching its peak only 16 years after its inception and a mere 8 years after it started to make any money?

Its amazing to think that someone can charge $1m for one post on Instagram but is it good value for money? I give my thoughts on this and also share some more cost effective ways to use this marketing channel
